Barbara Lemaster is a licensed Property Manager with 30 years experience in both multi-family and single family units in six different Real Estate Markets in California.
Barbara started in Los Angeles as a Maintenance supervisor for 10 high rise apartment buildings, supervising a staff of 10 maintenance men.
In San Diego she was an on-site manager for a 270 unit complex. She transferred to Sacramento to open the first multi-family complex to be built with the Sacramento Low to Moderate Bond Program. This apartment community was a 20 acre, 520 units, with full amenities to its residents. Barbara was responsible for developing and implementing an innovative Marketing Program, accomplishing with the help of a great staff, a 90% occupancy within the first year.
After proven success at Smoketree, Barbara was promoted to Assistant Regional Property Manager, given the opportunity to participate in the establishing of a new Regional Office for ConAm in the Norther California area. She was responsible for the supervision of 5 complexes totaling 1,030 units in 5 distinctly different markets. She successfully implemented marketing strategies for each community to obtain and maintain 90% occupancy.
At the time Barbara was given the chance to break into the field of Single Family Homes with a Mid-size Sacramento based management firm, managing 300+ homes in addition to a 300 unit, tax credit, apartment complex. She has also worked with the Section 8 certificate and voucher programs for some of the single family homes.
Barbara has been with M&M Property Services & Management for over nineteen years handling single family units, multi-family units, and small commercial properties. Barbara has also been with our sister company AMC since 2005 as an Association Manager managing a portfolio of 7 to 10 Homeowner Association. Associations range in size of 48 units to 464 units, with assets of $180,000.00 to $535,000.00.
